Associate Solicitor Emma Briggs graduated from Monash University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology. Whilst at University, Emma was awarded with a Dean’s Honour for the Highest Mark in Legal Reasoning and was given the opportunity to study abroad in Prato, Italy and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She also holds a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Leo Cussen Institute.
Emma has worked for Patrick since 2013, firstly as a paralegal whilst completing her legal studies and then as a Trainee Solicitor. Emma was admitted to the legal profession in March 2019 and transitioned to an Associate Solicitor.
Emma appears daily in the Magistrates’ Court of Victoria, representing clients in a range of matters. She has also instructed Counsel in a number of complex criminal matters, including Bail Applications and Committal Hearings, in the Magistrates’ Court and County Court.
